The second co_LAB intensive programme will be taking place between 25-31 May 2015,  featuring additional online content and a number of practice and skills workshops. We are looking for enthusiastic Level 2 students from across the Schools of Film & Media, Business, Law, Politics and Computer Science (although students from other disciplines are also welcome). Here’s a video of what we got up to in the first workshop:

The workshop will explore how the Magna Carta might be repurposed for the digital age (in the context of civic participation and safeguarding civil rights and liberties). Participants will be asked to address issues of Surveillance Culture and Big Data, developing design concepts that might engage the public in critical debate about these important issues.

We also require a short CV (max 1-page) highlighting any experience you have in collaborative working, any production skills you have, previous projects you have been involved with and any extra-curricular activities you have undertaken.
